Tallow is a rendered form of beef fat that has been traditionally used for cooking, skincare, and wellness purposes. My tallow products are valued for their rich nutrient profile, containing essential vitamins such as A, D, E, and K, which support skin health and overall wellness. These fat-soluble vitamins help nourish and protect the skin, promote healing, and provide antioxidant benefits. Additionally, tallow contains beneficial fatty acids that can improve skin barrier function and hydration.

Grass fed/finished tallow has a higher nutrient content compared to grain-fed and the cattle is raised in more sustainable fashion, meaning it is given less antibiotics and less hormones. Grain fed cattle is higher in mycotoxins and microplastics.

I make all of my products by hand and none are chemically engineered to always be the same. Meaning some batches may have a different consistency or color, this isn't a bad thing this just means that my products are as natural as possible. This said, it will not alter the effect of my products. One example of this, is that tallow is more solid when in cooler climates, so depending on the temperature when it is being made can alter the consistency of the tallow balm. For any of my scents I only use 100% essential oils, we also offer unscented balms. Since I do not use any chemicals or toxic fragrances there may be times you might smell a slight scent of tallow, this is normal because I use all natural ingredients.

Any of my products that contain a water based ingredient need a preservative to maintain freshness. This is to prevent the growth of mold and harmful bacteria. I only use natural and well sourced preservatives.

Most of my products do not contain any preservatives and the ones that do are my water based products. The ingredients in my non-water based products are shelf stable and should last at least 6 months before going rancid, as long as stored property it will last longer. To make the shelf life longer you can store in the refrigerator, by doing this the product can stay fresh beyond a year. If stored in the freezer it can stay fresh for 1-3 years. For my water based products, their shelf life is in more of a range from 3-6 months. Even though they contain a preservative, the shelf life is not that long because it is a natural preservative and not as strong as others. Since their self life is shorter, I sell those items in smaller jars. Keep in mind, over time the quality may decline.

The tallow can be used for anywhere on the body. Nowadays many skincare brands offer a separate product specifically for your face, most of the time because it is gentler. If the product is made with pure natural ingredients there should not be multiple products for different body parts. With my products you do not have to worry about that because my balm is for anywhere on the body. With that said, everyone's skin is different and only you can determine what is right for your skin, but I use the best ingredients I can in hopes that it is suitable for everyone in someway.

My goal is to make foods that people love just with better quality ingredients. Everyone deserves to eat what they want, in moderation of course, but there is no need for all the preservatives and additives that are in the foods people consume today. Nowadays a lot of people have specific needs for what they can and can not eat. I can alter my ingredients to fit most peoples needs.

My sourdough is made with no preservatives or chemicals. The simple ingredients are water, flour, and salt. Since I do not use any preservatives, the shelf life is shorter than others. My sourdough can last up to a week at room temperature, then should be placed in fridge for another week or so. After that I recommend storing in the freezer, where it will store for a few months.
